Summer Self-Care Tip #5: Try something new

Trying something new and getting out of your comfort zone can be scary and create anxiety…that definitely doesn’t sound very ZEN like! But, there are a lot of reasons why you might want to try something for the first time. You might find that you actually like it, you’ll have less regrets and build confidence as well as giving you a feeling of self-satisfaction that you took the chance! The “something new” doesn’t have to be a grand gesture, but even a small change in your daily routine can make you feel great and accomplished. Here are a few things you can try tomorrow:

  • Try a new group exercise class at your gym or local yoga studio

  • Talk to someone new at the city pool

  • Make a new dish for your family to share at dinner
